Fonda Technology as the only smart lighting enterprise in China who was invited to attend Barcelona Smart City Expo World Congress.

From November 14th to 16th, the 7th Global Smart City Expo (SCEWC) was held in Barcelona. The Barcelona Global Smart City Conference is currently the world's leading comprehensive display platform for smart city development and innovation. The purpose is to rely on the platform to shape a global smart city ecosystem.
Fonda tech, as the only smart lighting company in China, was invited to participate in this event to show the world the solutions and successful cases in the field of smart cities. According to the latest "2017 Global Smart City Strategy Index" released by Roland Berger, the market for smart city solutions is becoming increasingly prosperous. It is estimated that the annual growth rate of the global market capacity in the next ten years will be 13%, and the market potential will increase from less than US$13 billion in 2017 to US$28 billion in 2023. Among them, the growth rate of the Asia-Pacific market is higher than that of Europe and the Americas, and it is expected to increase from a maximum of 16% per year to about 32% in 2023.

As the carrier of smart city construction, street lights are almost coincident views of the industry. In the future, the street lighting will be LED lights connected with the Internet of Things. The smart city solution based on street lights is not only the control and maintenance of street lighting, but transformation of a city into a smart city with sensors covering the entire city and population.
